Harley Street

Vortex are pleased to announce the successful completion of a project involving the installation of a new Toshiba CT Scanner into a private hospital on Harley Street.
Due to the sheer size and weight of a scanner ( the main section is 2 tonnes ), all of the walls were removed from the basement to create a route in from the street, including the main front wall of the building at the lower level. Once the scanner had been craned into the lightwell and wheeled to the rear of the basement the main fitout works could commence. This involved installing lead-lined walls to both the CT and X-ray rooms as well as providing changing rooms and WC’s.
The successful working relationship that developed between ourselves and Toshiba-Medical means we are now on their preferred contractors list for future projects of their medical installations.
