Refurbishment of 1500ft2 office space for a property management company. Including redecoration, new flooring, new lighting, new secondary glazing and waterproofing to damaged areas of the roof.
Common parts refurbishment, internal decoration throughout, asbestos removal and 42 x fire rated front door and side cupboards installation to an exclusive apartment block set on the Thames.

Another small project to add to 2018 with our Hertz outlet creation constructed in an empty space within the concourse of Stratford International Railway Station.

A good start to the year with Vortex completing a small fit-out for Leaders Romans Group in West Drayton including full refurbishment to office, WC’s and kitchen areas.

Vortex completed a fit-out of an occupied office space including 2 meeting rooms divided by a sliding / folding wall, a new tea point/bar area with bespoke reclaimed timber doors and tops, feature lighting, floorbox installation, and decoration.
Vortex have recently handed over the 10th Floor of New Zealand House to a very happy client after a full refurbishment involving new partitions, flooring, power and data, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and mechanical installations as well as all new furniture and a teapoint / breakout area.
This was a Design & Build project for which we brought on board Ann MacDonald from AMI Consulting to work with Vortex.
Vortex are pleased to announce the successful completion of a project involving the installation of a new Toshiba CT Scanner into a private hospital on Harley Street.
Due to the sheer size and weight of a scanner ( the main section is 2 tonnes ), all of the walls were removed from the basement to create a route in from the street, including the main front wall of the building at the lower level. Once the scanner had been craned into the lightwell and wheeled to the rear of the basement the main fitout works could commence. This involved installing lead-lined walls to both the CT and X-ray rooms as well as providing changing rooms and WC’s.
The successful working relationship that developed between ourselves and Toshiba-Medical means we are now on their preferred contractors list for future projects of their medical installations.

Vortex have recently completed this small refurbishment project for Hertz at their Old Kent Road branch.
The works involved electrical, decoration, plumbing and roofing works whilst having the challenge of keeping the branch open throughout.

Vortex is pleased to announce the successful completion of our latest project. We were contracted by Chard Robinson Developments to undertake the fit-out of a 10,000 sq foot building in Cambridge to create 14 dance studios with a breakout space, male and female changing rooms, and ancillary staff spaces including the full M&E installation. The project grew to include not just interiors but a new extension with a Metsec wall, full height aluminum windows, roofing and landscaping works.
